A. Salgado y E. Muslip); 2) la relaciones literarias de Darío con los modernismos hispánicos y su visión de otros autores (estudios a cargo de F. Solares-Larrave y A. Pineda) ; 3) Darío y su conexión con España a través de autores y figuras literarias concretas (con artículos de F. J. Díez de Revenga, N. Orringer, R. Alarcón Sierra y J.E. Arellano) ; 4) Darío y sus múltiples intereses –literarios, científicos, religiosos y sociales- (con análisis a cargo de C. L. Jrade, S. Daydí-Tolson, G. Schmigalle, I. López-Calvo); y 5) la recepción literaria de Darío (con artículos de J.M. Martínez y A. Acereda). Este volumen vertebra una seria recopilación de trabajos críticos elaborados específicamente para este monográfico y como recordatorio de los cien años de Cantos.

Número doble sobre Darío donde se valora al poeta y al Modernismo como innovación estética y ética y como compromiso original con el lenguaje y la realidad social. En el análisis e investigación se incluyen textos darianos que ofrecen una autopercepción intelectual en el proceso histórico. Dentro del argumento y del análisis temático, junto a los estudios de M. Mantero y A. Acereda aparecen trabajos de especialistas como I. A. Schulman, M.A. Salgado, L. Weinberg de Magis, F. J. Díez de Revenga, P. Gómez Bedate, José C. Rovira, L. Bourne, A. Enrique o J.L. Cano. La última sección, a modo de documentación cultural e información bibliográfica, recoge una amplia “Encuesta a poetas españoles” sobre la figura y la obra de Darío. Entre los 50 poetas entrevistados están Guillermo Carnero, Antonio Colinas, Victoriano Crémer, Antonio Gala, José García Nieto, Ramón de Garciasol, Pere Gimferrer, Rafael Morales o Jesús Munárriz, entre otros. El número cierra con unos inéditos darianos preparados por P.L Barcia.
